After 30 years at leading executive search firms Russell Reynolds, Heidrick & Struggles, Spencer Stuart, and Ferguson Partners, John Wasley founded Wasley Associates to provide high-level access with boutique firm service.
With a depth of relationships as significant as his experience, John has represented private, public, and equity-backed companies, from start-ups to the Fortune 500’s.
John has held many of the positions he now works to fill, and personally vets candidates with unparalleled attention to detail.

As an active member of the Urban Land Institute, I’m deeply committed to community impact. During my time on the board of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, I chaired the Affordable Housing Program and led committees on HR and compensation, focusing on good governance and social responsibility.
When I’m not helping clients achieve their leadership goals or build sustainable success, you can find me woodworking, reading, and enjoying time with my family in Chatham, Massachusetts, and Pasadena, California.
